Liz and I went on an expedition down the Huron River. Here's proof:

Liz commissioned a portrait of our dog Leila for her birthday present.
I finished it a little late but here it is in all it's amateur glory.

Leila "Right-Eye" Figueredo a.k.a. Chinis

Today our dog Leila tried to crash through one of the windows in our house. It happened while we were at work, so we are not really sure what prompted her to do it. I came home to a half-broken window, a bloody-faced dog, blood splattered floors and a blood soaked duvet/sheets. We immediately drove her to the vet freaking out. The cut on her face is literally millimeters from her right eye. She is so lucky to have not punctured her eyeball, she would have certainly lost it forever.

Here is what she looked like after her visit to the vet and after 5 staples were applied to her face:
