"I went back in the lab and completed two projects. the first is a mixtape (cliche i know) that i decided to start just on a whim after rediscovering the supreme sexiness of the girls of envogue. just writing for the fuck of it and keeping things light, i (with the help of friend deejaytone) ended up having 20-plus songs just sitting in the stash. taking a trip to fashion trade-show in vegas (MAGIC) with deejaygyro and geoff and the boys from guerillafist clothiers last winter i found myself for a four-day weekend drinking, farting, and watching howard the duck on the same couch as atmosphere/el-p touring dj, mr. dibbs. a couple hundred cigarettes, a few arm-wrestling matches, and one suprisingly not-so-awkward night of spooning he agreed to weave my cover songs together into one continuous blend now known as bigfoot’s dick."

The project actively cultivates culture in the community and is a reflection of social change. The core mural pieces are embedded on the new architectural development of affordable income housing in Logan Heights. La Entrada's design have a meaningful approach that speaks with the people's language; the imagery becomes cultural tools of social engagement and in its stories of experiences move and circulate as positive information which become vehicles for connections within the community."

Trip to Big Bear

WAAAHOO!!! It's been five years and we finally went snowboarding. Carlos, Courtney, John and I all piled in the Landie at the butt crack of dawn for the three hour treck up from SD. No action shots...but I'm sure you can get the idea.....

A trip to Little Italy in downtown San Diego on a Friday night will leave you dizzy from circling the block seven times to find a parking spot. But once settled will find yourself pleased with the amount of galleries, restaurants and shops to experience. This night we are headed to the Luis De Jesus Seminal Projects gallery for United States of Color vs. Grand Theft Auto featuring Steve Gibson (San Diego), Maya Hayuk (NYC), Daniel Tierney (East Oakland) and Geoffrey Todd-Smith (Chicago).
